INDIE BANDS PLAY THE STOOP CONCERT SERIES
IN LANDMARK HELL’S KITCHEN CHURCH

Land of Leland, Pony of Good Tidings, and Special Guests bring
their unique Indie blend to The Stoop, a distinctive Hell’s Kitchen Music Venue.

NEW YORK, New York – April 17, 2012 – The Stoop, a distinctive music venue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen is gearing up for a night of NYC’s Indie darlings, Justin Keller’s Land of Leland, Pony of Good Tidings, and special guests.

Justin Keller is a multi-instrumentalist who can be seen all over NYC with powerhouse groups such as Sarah and The Stanleys. Primary Records’ Pony of Good Tidings is making its mark on the Brooklyn music scene, and The Stoop is excited to bring their brand of indie to Hell’s Kitchen. “Pony of Good Tidings is a bit of old country folk styles with songs about love, friendship, loss, death, and Jesus…a five man band comprised of cello, violin, guitar, banjo, clarinet and keyboards, with occasional instrument swapping moments.”

Doors open at 7:30pm, and showtime is at 8pm. While the concert is free, The Stoop will be accepting suggested donations of $12. Receive a free gift with the full suggested cover. All drinks and concessions including beer and wine are inexpensively priced under $4.

Three of rock and roots’ best play for live radio taping at The Stoop, Hell’s Kitchen Music Venue.

NEW YORK, New York – February 14th – Tremendous talents, The 77s Unplugged (Michael Roe and David Leonhardt), Zach Williams, and Brian Elmquist will perform a night of originals on Saturday, March 17th at The Stoop, an unparalleled music venue in the heart of NYC.

The 77s is a nationally recognized favorite and has been praised by countless fans and publications. The 77s are celebrating the re-release of “Sticks and Stones” first released nearly 22 years ago. The Stoop is a special stop on The 77s Unplugged tour, in which they perform some songs from their extensive 77s catalog as well as take part in a roundtable discussion.

Zach Williams has been packing music halls in NYC and nationwide with good reason; he is a sight to behold. His genuine heart and raw power are felt by all who hear his original work. “He truly believes that music is an art that can press a palm to the wounded.” - Relevant Magazine

Brian Elmquist is a roots rock singer-songwriter who pens tender laments and angry regrets. Originally hailing from Georgia but now a Brooklynite, he has found a secure spot in the NYC music scene impressing listeners with his vocal and lyrical talents.

This show will be recorded by Flat World Productions and later broadcast on WCWP radio. The show taping is open to the public. The event will be emceed by Chris MacIntosh (a.k.a. Music Forum presents operatic bass, Waundell Saavedra at landmark Church For All Nations.

NEW YORK, New York – December 12, 2011 – On Saturday, January 21st, Music Forum of Church For All Nations will present a concert featuring American bass, Waundell Saavedra whose rich and powerful voice spans coloratura, lyric, and dramatic roles. In addition to performance, Saavedra is a beloved composer writing with passion and flare. Waundell also serves as the President and Artistic Director of Empire Opera, a young company in New York focusing on new and rare works. Powerhouse soulstress Tabitha Fair heats up The Stoop’s Season Kick-Off in Hell’s Kitchen.

NEW YORK, New York – August 26, 2011 – The Stoop, a distinctive music venue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen is thrilled to present a night of indie soul, rock, and pop featuring headliner Tabitha Fair. Tabitha has been awarded the Songwriters Hall of Fame Abe Olman Award and is a top touring vocalist and recording artist. Fair was also a co-founding member of the high-selling group, Avalon. This knock-out performer has worked with the likes of Keith Urban, Celine Dion, Carole King, Amy Grant, Sting, Travis Tritt, Michael McDonald, and The Van Zant Brothers to name a few. Tabitha Fair is one accomplished songstress not to be missed.

Lachi, who will be kicking off the night, has been featured on Oprah Radio, MTV Iggy, NPR, CBS Radio, The Onion, and various other entertainment outlets not to mention her performances at a growing list of famed venues and festivals including Joe’s Pub, SXSW, and more. She’s drawn in a loyal following with her haunting melodies and lyrics complemented by her piano stylings.
